At this year’s 11th installment of Bal Érotique, we have chosen the retired Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Aid, now the progressive fringe Theatre Paradox in the burgeoning borough of South-West Montreal.
This will serve as our Temple, our place of worship that is built on an energy point in this area, linking both history and the rise of a new future.
Our temple is the Temple of Eros, the Greek god of Love, son of Aphrodite and Hermes. Plato defined Eros as “a fundamental creative impulse having a sensual element”, in short Intimate Love and Desire. Eros, a child of Chaos, blesses the union of earth and sky after which the Universe comes into existence.
On Friday August 26th, we will come together, and co-create the energy of EROS. We will, once again, resurrect the ancient temples of Love & Mysticism in the 21st century!
