Wednesday night is gearing up to be a star studded event in Montreal when CAMP Restaurant Bar opens its doors on Crescent street for an invite only reception.
Located in one of the busiest downtown areas in Montreal , CAMP is the newest spot to the popular area from the masterminds of Luc Lortie and Benoît Syrkos.
Carlos A. Godoy L., of MRCNR and publicist for the event says that “Luc comes from the media, entertainment and food/beverage industry, while Benoît is a successful entrepreneur with numerous business ventures.”
In a strip of downtown Montreal that sees restaurants come and go, Godoy said that, “CAMP restaurant bar will differentiate itself from other restaurants first and foremost through the culinary craftsmanship of its chef David Mineau, who specializes in reinventing French culinary classics using seasonal Québec ingredients.”
“Crescent Street is a wonderful business artery that has provided international visibility to Montréal, featuring a unique mix of French and English ‘joie de vivre’. The owners of CAMP restaurant bar are both proud and pleased to be the newest addition to Crescent Street and to Montréal culinary and nightlife establishments.’ Godoy explains about the choice of location for CAMP.
Godoy went on to further say that “Its streamlined, cozy and high-end outline is the creation of design luminary Christian Bélanger and will leave no one indifferent. Last but not least, a special focus has been put on providing accessible business luncheons to the neighboring office crowd, all the while offering the opportunity to come back after work for a power 5 à 7, a delicious dinner and a party ambiance once the sun has set for the night.”
Wednesday’s highly anticipated launch will be restricted to a VVIP opening that has a very closely guarded celebrity guest list that includes fashion industry moguls, politicians, actors, actresses, music industry celebs, and many local Montreal personalities.
Says Godoy, “A ‘soft’ launch geared for VVIPs and media is scheduled for Wednesday, including bouchées and bar service. A select list of fashion icons, culture vanguards, captains of industry, political leaders and socialites in fashionista Patrick de Grâce’s social circles are all already confirmed.”
As for when the venue will open to the public Godoy stated, “Thursday, May 6th, is the public grand opening and will see performances by Monde Osé’s ostentatious performers as well as a Hollywood-style red carpet setting to greet guests.”
Examiner.com will be present at the event and will be reporting the “who’s who” of the event as it happens.
